Audit
Clear vilations of the law, but the system refuses to handle it. What's worse than having an unlawful activity? It's the attitude of, "Can't touch that hot potato."
Courts are looking at civil action, not checking the government power, showing private citizens ahve to force government to act.
Congress refuses to censure, delaying with more investigations.
GAO refuses to touch it, citing the classified activity and the ongoing ligigation in District Court [ Click ]
NSA IG appears to be going around and around whether it will or will not look into the matter. Not sure what the results of the NSA IG review are, if they will be public, or whether the NSA IG is or isn't doing anything.
All the White House excuses and legal arguments do not make sense. They know they've violated the law.
