Americans decide to water down Constitution

Senate Intelligence Committee, which didn't look at what failed in re 9-11, wants to give DoJ more power. How do they know this will actually solve the problem instead of making it worse?

Leave it up to the Senate to trust a Tyrant.

It's official -- The idiots on the Judiciary Committee voted to give the FBI more power to secretly get warrants, despite the Constitution.

I've already blogged about this. I would prefer Congress delay taking action on this until after the issues with the Bolton-NSA tapes are assessed.

Why are we giving them more power to review information in secret when they're already reviewing in secret stuff they shouldn't be looking at?

They've lied about Iraq and WMD, why should we trust them with power that violates the Constitution?
