Isreal: Dumb people in government don't realize most information publicly available

Intelligence officials are redfaced. Their agents were caught stealing information publicly available.If you've been reading this blog, you'll know there are many open sources about insurgent attacks in Iraq.

Brookings issues publicly available reports. The data contained can be analyzed to forecast actual US manning requirements; and also forecast future attacks.

But what did Pentagon analysts do? They got caught leaking "classified" information that could be developed based on open sources.

Why does government lie and hide information? Because they're too stupid to realize that High School students know better.
