Fake cops, fake warrants -- how the Patriot Act is being abused

TV crew in India nabs a judge who issued warrants for money.

Without public oversight, abuses will continue to spread in secrecy.

Sergeant Christopher Laycock told the Police Integrity Commission (PIC) that he and a gang of associates, including a career criminal and an ex-cop, had posed as policemen and door-knocked criminals. The group would present fake search warrants and "stamp" their victims for cash, letting them go without charge if they paid up. Ref


Patriot Act is not constitutional. Those legislators who have passed the act should be subject to laws that impose criminal santions for passing unconstitutional statutes.
