Comparing Congress' action in re Draft to Patriot Act

Strange how Congress is quick to say "we son't do" what would fix a problem [bring army troop strength up to combat-level requirements]; but it then goes out of its way to pass unconstitutional legislation.

Quick to act outside the bounds of the constituiton; glacial to take action to do what is needed to protect that constitution.

Congress is merely part of the problem, not the solution. They are not the reason we are here -- Congress remains a poor foundation for this constitution.
